However, Ford seems to be doing quite well - particularly with the Mustang Mach E. In order to move 2023 inventory, they offered consumers over $8,000 in discounts on the model - resulting in a 3x-6x sales increase over the past few weeks. Time will tell if this tactic continues to move vehicles, but it appears consumer interest in EVs is strong when the price is right.
